neurodevelopmental Evaluations
2-5 years-old

Our thorough neurodevelopmental assessments aim to identify and evaluate a child's neurodevelopmental status, including their cognitive, language, motor, and behavioral abilities.

The goal of an evaluation is to identify potential neurodevelopmental disorders—such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and others—to assess a child's developmental progress, detect any delays or concerns, and provide essential information for diagnosis, intervention, and ongoing monitoring.

We offer a well-rounded, research-informed approach to address and explore parents' concerns and provide guidance toward the next steps, as early intervention is essential for favorable outcomes for children.

Parents will receive recommendations for activities and monitoring, or recommendations for resources and services to consider.

Child and adolescent evaluations
3-15 years-old

Our comprehensive assessment process is designed to evaluate a child’s or teen’s cognitive, neurocognitive, academic, emotional, social, and regulatory functioning—helping to uncover both areas of strength and opportunities for support. We deeply value the insights of all key caregivers in a child’s life, including parents, teachers, and childcare providers.

By gathering information across multiple settings—such as home, school, and the clinic—we develop a well-rounded understanding of each individual’s unique profile. Our strength-based approach promotes insight and acceptance, helping families and support teams understand how a child’s neurodevelopmental makeup may shape their experiences and relationships.

Our evaluations address a range of concerns, including but not limited to: learning differences, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, emotional distress or trauma, and giftedness or twice-exceptional profiles.

Young adult evaluations
16-25 years-old

Teens and young adults face a unique set of challenges as they manage shifting academic expectations, executive functioning demands, and complex social dynamics—all during a pivotal time of growing independence and self-discovery. Our evaluations are thoughtfully designed to address these complexities, highlighting each individual’s strengths, challenges, and areas of vulnerability.

Our evaluations address a range of concerns, including but not limited to: learning differences, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety, emotional distress or trauma, personality concerns, and giftedness or twice-exceptional profiles.

In addition, we offer assessments to determine eligibility for accommodations for academic and professional standardized tests.

adult evaluations
26-35 years-old

We offer comprehensive evaluations for adults with psychiatric and neurodevelopmental concerns.

You may be wondering if you have ADHD, autism, a learning difference, or a mental health condition. Let us help clarify your concerns and identify your strengths and needs.

Our psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s unique concerns, questions, and goals. We explore how the brain influences emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns, providing a deeper understanding of the whole person. Through a detailed, neurodiversity-affirming assessment of cognitive functioning, mood, temperament, and lived experiences, we help clients gain meaningful insight into themselves and create a personalized roadmap for growth and support.

Whether you're struggling with focus, decision-making, emotional regulation, or noticing differences in how you relate to others or experience the world—or if you've observed changes in your thinking or mood—an evaluation offers a powerful opportunity to explore the “why” behind these experiences and identify the most supportive next steps.

independent educational evaluations

An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is a private, comprehensive assessment conducted by a qualified professional outside of the school district. If you’re seeking additional insight or clarification following a school-based evaluation, an IEE can provide a more in-depth and individualized understanding of your child’s learning profile, strengths, and support needs.

In many cases, when requested and approved, the school district covers the full cost of the IEE, allowing families to access a second opinion without financial burden.

Our IEE services are thoughtfully designed to help families better understand their child’s unique needs and navigate the special education process with clarity and confidence.

We offer:

  • Comprehensive assessments covering cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and neuropsychological functioning

  • School observations to understand your child’s real-world learning environment and classroom behavior

  • Individualized, practical recommendations to guide educational planning

  • Collaborative communication with school teams and other providers (as needed)

  • Attendance at the IEP meeting to present results and support the implementation of appropriate services and accommodations

  • Clear, compassionate feedback for parents and caregivers
